Hello everyone! Hope that you’re all having a wonderful weekend. Here in Atlanta, there’s nothing but rain forecast for the next few days, which is giving me the perfect excuse to stay indoors, hang out with my family and catch up with all things blog related. Today I wanted to share with you this gorgeous hot pink cardigan. It’s such a fun piece, and perfect for a casual Valentine’s Day too!
One of my goals for this year is to be a little more adventurous when it comes to my style. I’ve built up a nice capsule wardrobe of basics and neutrals, so it’s definitely time to add some more fun and unexpected pieces. While blush pink is definitely having a moment right now (someone pleeease stop me from buying any more blush pink accessories) I couldn’t say no to this hot pink cardigan.
It comes from one of my current fave online stores, Goodnight Macaroon. The exact one I’m wearing is sold out (nooo!) but I’ve linked to a very similar one above. In my opinion, they have the BEST selection of chunky knits. I’m looking forward to seeing more from their spring and summer collections too.
(Quick tip – shipping was a little on the slow side, so I would definitely recommend picking express shipping!)
If you plan on adding a pop of color like this to your outfit, I’d suggest keeping the rest of your outfit relatively simple (although not necessarily boring!). That way it’ll be the star of the show.
I opted to pair my cardie with my favorite skinnies, a classic stripe t-shirt and these fun leopard print flats. I’ve always counted leopard print as a neutral, so in my opinion they don’t compete. Also, this blush pink crossbody bag, which I just love.
This is obviously a casual look, but there’s no reason you couldn’t add a pop of hot pink like this to your work outfit by choosing a slightly more fitted cardigan (I’ve linked a few different options below).
